Step into The Gallery Range and Restaurant and you’ll quickly realize—it’s not your typical firing range. Located in Lakewood, Colorado, this high-end destination is part luxury hospitality, part training facility, and entirely unique. With a full coffee bar, restaurant, cocktail bar, and high-tech firing range under one roof, The Gallery is redefining what it means to bring community, safety, and service together in one space.

Founded by Megan Hymanson, Mark Hymanson, and David Grasso, The Gallery is the only concept of its kind in the state. The idea was sparked by 3 friends experiences in the firearms world. After encountering unsafe environments and less-than-welcoming customer service at other ranges, they knew there had to be a better way.

“We wanted to build something different—welcoming, empowering, and safe.”

And that’s exactly what they did. After beginning the business journey in 2020 and officially opening their doors on April 29, 2022, The Gallery has become a haven for individuals from all backgrounds who want to learn about firearms in a supportive and inclusive setting.

From beginner training to advanced competitions, The Gallery offers far more than a shooting experience—it offers a sense of belonging. With themed events like bachelor parties, corporate team building, and date nights, guests are welcomed into an environment that’s as much about connection as it is about education. The facility prides itself on outstanding customer service and a friendly, judgment-free culture where safety and hospitality go hand in hand.

Their efforts have made a real impact in the community. One powerful example is their partnership with Pink Pistols, an LGBTQ+ firearms training group that calls The Gallery home. Over the years, the team has watched countless individuals overcome fear and hesitation to become confident, responsible gun owners who now take pride in their skills and safety.

“We’re a melting pot,” Megan explained. “All walks of life come here and feel welcome. That’s exactly what we hoped to create.”

Of course, launching a start-up—especially in a politically sensitive industry—comes with challenges. But these three did not let that stop them.

“We live here, we love this community, and we show up every day. We’re not absentee owners. That makes all the difference.”

And their community involvement runs deep. From supporting the Jefferson Center for Mental Health to sponsoring local favorites like Golden Buffalo Bill Days, The Gallery isn’t just a place of business—it’s a pillar in the community. They also host events and provide resources, training, and engaging activities that keep locals coming back—not just for the range, but for the experience.
